IAHR Marine Renewable Energy Working Group
a Working Group of the Coastal & Maritime Hydraulics Committee of IAHR
Objectives
IAHR has launched a new Working Group dedicated to marine renewable energy - building on the interest shown at Special Seminars at the 2005 Biennial Congress in Seoul, and the Vancouver Congress (August 9-14th, 2009).
The Group, approved by the IAHR Council, forms part of the Coastal and Maritime Hydraulics Committee and focusses on the hydraulics, fluid mechanics, technology/machinery and environmental aspects relating to the development of tidal (including barrages and lagoons), wave and offshore wind energy.
If you are interested in participating in this new group, please contact Estibaliz Serrano, Programme Officer IAHR IPD in Madrid publications@iahr.org, or Constantine Memos (memos @ hydro.ntua.gr) Chair of the Coastal and Maritime Hydraulics Section.
