Today teaches Geology and Paleontology in the Universidade de Brasília and he coordinates the fossil sampling activities in Belo Monte hydroelectric power plant construction.
He finished his Master Degree in paleontology in 2009, studying the Permian ostracods from the Paraná basin, based at the Universidade de Brasília. He's graduated in Geology by the Universidade de Brasília (2006).
He has experience in the geology subjects, with emphasis in Stratigraphic Paleontology, working mainly with ostracods, Permian, Triassic and Cretaceous from the Paraná, Sanfranciscana and Santos basins. He's a member of the Sociedade Brasileira de Paleontologia (SBP; Brazilian Paleontological Society) and he was Counsellor of the 16th International Symposium on Ostracoda (ISO).
