The Bagel Factory

dealing in oddities since 2006 AD

Important Things:

JCGamers (for games)

yoshitoshi ABe works (for art - not mine, sadly)

IMGD (for writing about games)

Project Eclipse  (for a computer-game-to-be)

News:

  • 10-09-06:  First Broken Brigade screenshot get!  Well, engine test.  With fancy logo thingum.  Here:

Nothing amazing just yet, but it does look far nicer than                   Project Eclipse, at least.

  • 09-25-06: Ipes.  Well, I did warn that updates would be sporadic, and so they have been.  Project Eclipse is in video game limbo for the nonce, though if you're brave, you can find a very buggy copy of the demo here.  I've also started a little bit of preliminary work on a tactical RPG project set in the modern day, called "Broken Brigade," though that one's too early to show much of yet.
  • 05-28-06: A major milestone in Project Eclipse - the first (working) version of the map/scenario editor is complete!  Also an artist search!  Check the Project Eclipse section for more.  Also, there's been a running devblog sort of thingy going there for some time now that may be of some interest to somebody.  Me, at least.
  • 05-17-06: I set up a new page for Eclipse stuff, since it was getting out of hand here.  Old news posts regarding Eclipse have been moved there, and there are pictures!
  • 03-16-06: Rather an un-update than an update today; since I'm no longer taking Technical Game Dev this term, that's been dropped from the IMGD section.  The good news is that I made some decent progress on Eclipse over my vacation.  The (further) bad news is that it wasn't decent enough to put anything here - though it looks OK, I won't be ready to post anything here until its functionality catches up to its visuals.
  • 03-03-06: Frightening even myself, an update within the first week!  I've added a new section about my undergrad studies in Worcester Polytechnic Institute's IMGD major.  Boring school assignments get!  Also talks a bit about the Alternate Reality Game that I was involved in for one of the classes.
  • 02-28-06: Official re-launch (prior to this, I had a small page with RoadRunner; it has since been chopped up and burned for firewood).  I've posted some information on my game-design-related projects and my artist-related obsession, which you can find in the separate pages over on the sidebar there.  Future updates will be somewhat sporadic, but when there's news to tell, I'll tell it here.

I can be reached at this e-mail address - replace the bits in parentheses with their character equivalents to get it to work, and to help foil evil spammer-types.
