The Hereford and Worcester Open is one of the leading 6 weapon open tournaments held in the UK each year on the first weekend in December.  For 2009 - 5th & 6th December 

The Venue
The Sports Hall Bromsgrove School. Access via the gate on the Worcester road out of Bromsgrove (directions and a map are available on request).

The Event
This event is an all-electric, individual, age group competition at Foil and Epee, with a difference.

Each entrant not only competes for his or her own personal result but also earns points for their school. The points are awarded on the basis of last place in any event gets one point each place above gets an additional point. Therefore every one who takes part automatically scores at least one point for their school. The better they do the more points they score, the winner of each category scores the most points for their school, and the larger the category the more points they can score.
