A little about me:

    Hello Everyone! My name is Hunter Ward and this is currently my last semester here at Fort Hays State University. I can't wait to graduate next spring with a degree in Elementary Education, and begin teaching. I was born and raised in SW Kansas and I feel blessed to have lived in such a great community.  Some of my hobbies include teaching, playing and coaching sports, hunting and fishing, listening to Classic Rock, and traveling. The picture posted here with the bear is from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. In the spring of 2007 I had the opportunity to study abroad for one semester in the Finnish city of Jyvaskyla. Living in another country was one of the best experiences of my life, and hopefully I will get more opportunities to broaden my horizons even further. I hope to bring my personal experience with a number of different cultures into my classroom, and help students realize the importance of understanding cultures outside of their own. Hopefully you can find something interesting or useful to you on my website.
