We are working on some pretty cool maps using Google Maps that will show broadband coverage in the area as well as some other nifty stats. In addition to that we have a couple cool "fun" maps to share with you. The first is a mashup between Google Maps and Google Earth that will show 3D models of most of the buildings on campus at Marshall University. The models were made using Google Sketchup. We've also created a really cool stop motion animation video using Google Street View (an awesome feature of Google Maps) and Picasa (the free photo management software offered by Google). |
