Welcome!
Our library is located in the renovated Great Hall of the Union Meeting House on The Main Road in the lower village of Huntington. The Meeting House continues to be restored for the community as a permanent home for the Library, Arts Center, and Community Center. While the eclectic collection is small (11,600 volumes), adults may find good current fiction, parenting resources, some reference and a few classics. The children’s collection is very popular and young people will find many books from required reading and award winning book lists. There is also a growing collection of audio books, especially mysteries, romances and classics. Browse our entire collection through our electronic card catalog, linked on the left side of this page. Through interlibrary loan, we can usually get any book you would like to read, or use your Homecard at any of the participating Homecard libraries. Homecards may be obtained at the library during regular hours. Library Trustee Meetings. Library Trustees meet at the Library on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.
