Doris Humphrey was one of the great pioneers of modern dance of the
20th century. The Doris Humphrey Foundation was established as
charitable trust in the UK in 1995 to commemorate the centenary of
Humphrey's birth. The aim of the Foundation is to protect her artistic
legacy and to ensure its continuance as a living and vibrant dance
tradition of the 21st century.
