the Humble Pie Restaurant, Penngrove, California

We are family. Our technical names are: Brook & Dan McCann, Joshua Norwitt and Miriam Donaldson... but most all of us answer to HEY YOU!    We run our restaurant the old fashioned way, a graceful combination of swear words and giggles.  After working in great restaurants for years and cooking for our families for even longer, we came across the tiny town of Penngrove and the Black Cat Building on Main street.  The building has always hosted a kitchen and a bar as well and when it was ready for us we found each other.  We took over the restaurant in July 2008 and have been serving up the love ever since.

The kitchen at the Humble Pie is dedicated to serving food made with honest intention using the freshest most local ingredients to be found.  We farm at our ranch on Roblar road and buy local meat, shop farmers markets and are always reaching out to meet new farmers and growers.   Like a great garden, the Humble Pie is a constant work in progress and each month we see more and more local ingredients hit the plate. 

Our dining room is small and cozy with only 6 tables we max out at about 30 friendly guests.  Coming to dinner at the Humble Pie is alot like going to someones house for dinner so call ahead if you know your coming, bring a healthy appetite and your lovely self.
