The Spotlight: What's Happening in Humanities Class?

  • Unit II: Latin America and Poetry Wednesday, October 7th marked the beginning of our second unit, A Study of Latin America and Poetry!  During this 4 week unit, students will be working together to explore the region known as Latin America. Topics of study  include ancient civilizations (Aztec, Maya, Inca), Latin American culture, geographical features of the region, and so much more.  At the end of students' exploration, students will come together as Travel Agencies and create travel brochures about a country of their choice in Latin America.  This brochure must include information about the new country based on the 5 Themes of Geography learned in our first unit of the year.
