Be known as an "expert" on babies
Promote breastfeeding
Enhance parent-child bonding
The HUG is an innovative and family-friendly program to help expectant and new parents: *understand the language of their newborn, and *use this information to solve or prevent common problems around sleeping, eating, crying, and bonding. How will The HUG benefit you & your clinets?
Parent-child bonding is enhanced when parents can read their baby’s body language. The HUG teaches parents to notice and respond well to a baby’s SOSs (Signs of Over-Stimulation) which can interfere with parent-child attachment.
Breastfeeding is facilitated when parents notice their baby's communication.
New parents trust care providers who understand and appreciate the unique personality and capabilities of THEIR newborn! HUG certification gives you access to engaging teaching tools and materials.
