Visiting Sculptor and models at St. Pius X School

        Fr. Mike Knipe commissioned Joe Kenney to create a sculpture for the St. Pius X campus. The sculpture will depict a modern version of St. Anne and the Blessed Mother as a child. The models for this sculpture were Dora Calabro and Savanah Glover.

      Mr. Kenney explained the process of creating a life-size statute to the students in art class. The  final version of the clay model will be here during Catholic Schools Week for all to see. Then it will be fired and returned to the school in the spring.
