Hudson Valley Tango MILONGA Lakeside Fire Company Clubhouse where we just had our fabulous New Year’s Eve Milonga [Scroll down to see photos] Just 4 miles from the center of Monroe ... about 5 miles from Exit 130 of NYS Route 17. It's easy to find and has plenty of parking If you are coming from the center of Monroe Village, at the intersection of Route 17M and Lakes Road (see the Dollar store and Monroe Pool store), proceed southwest on Lakes Road (County Rt. 5) about one mile. Bear left onto Cedar Cliff Road (County Rt. 91). Stay on this road 3 miles to find Lakeside Fire Company on the right. The name of the road changes to West Mombasha Road when you are about halfway there. The entrance to the parking lot is just before the Firehouse. There is an Italian restaurant (Piccolo Posto) directly across the street.
We start each dance party with a workshop for all levels, including new dancers who have never experienced tango before, as well as experienced tangueros. Instruction is tailored to individual needs.
Encourage your friends who may have expressed an interest in tango to take part, to learn enough to enjoy the evening’s dancing. To take advantage of these sessions, please arrive on time and be ready to dance at 7:30 pm
