  APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP TO THE
  HUBERTUS MODEL BOAT CLUB INCORPORATED

REGULATIONS GOVERNING H.M.B.C. Inc.

 

1.         Children must be strictly supervised and ARE NOT ALLOWED to enter

            the water under any circumstances.

 

2.         NO ALCOHOL  to be consumed outside club premises.

 

3.         Speedboat racing is NOT PERMITTD. (IC or electric).

            Speedboat speed restricted to 50kmh (estimated).

 

4.         Speedboats MUST BE fitted with fail safe device and proper muffler.

            Noise level not to exceed 85 Db.

 

5.         SPEED BOATS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE LAKE  when the

            Hubertus Country Club holds a special function such as a wedding,  also

            the last Sunday of each month which is Market Day.

 

6.         Speedboats can only operate on the western side of the lake

                                                     AT ALL TIMES.

        This is a directive from the Hubertus Country Club.

     

7.         All new members with speed boats MUST HAVE THEIR BOATS

      INSPECTED by two committee members prior to using the lake.

      Ongoing periodic inspections will be carried out for safety purposes.

 

8.         When operating the rescue boat, the lifejackets provided MUST BE

      WORN  -  two people must use boat at all times – NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

9.        The club’s life buoy must be situated at the lake when any boats    

            are being operated on the lake.

 

10.       Any member or visitor behaving in a rowdy manner and/or against

       common decency will be requested to leave the premises.

OFFICIAL RUNNING DAY OF THE H.M.B.C. IS SUNDAY.  Activities at the lake on ANY OTHER DAY MUST BE APPROVED BY THE H.C.C. following consultation with the Committee of the H.M.B.C.
