Sunday 27th May the St George Model Boat Club is hosting its 26th Anniversary Birthday Regatta.
(Please note the change in date from previously advertised Sunday 20th May.
This is to avoid clashing with the Sydney Model Boat Show. )

Between the hours of 10:00AM and 2:00PM radio control model boats will be on display and demonstrated at the Scarbourough Park Model Boat Facility. Radio control model boats in various stages of completion along with various types will be on display. Large and small vessels comprising Tug Boats, Sail Boats, Warships, Ferries, Merchant Ships, Fishing Boats, Hydrofoils, Cruise Liners will be on display and in use. Some novelty vessels might also be in attendance.

The Club will be conducting a raffle.

The Scarborough Park Model Boat Facility is located in Scarborough Park , Barton Street Monterey. Access to Barton Street is via The Grand Parade (continuation of General Holmes Drive) or Rocky Point Road.

Several Traders have been invited to attend and specific details of those attending will be updated later. These traders comprising Hobby Stores, Specialist Model Boat Suppliers will have various items. What is available for sale is at the discretion of the traders although from previous regattas – some great finds have been discovered. Old stock, shop soiled and new to market items have been offered for sale.

Following the success of the ticket system at the 2010 regatta, a similar system will be used to ensure that only participants are catered for. Frequency control will also be in operation.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.
