The  Hoy-Scott Watershed Society,( HSWS )

http://www.hsws.ca/

is located in Coquitlam, British Columbia

We have a blog , and also a Facebook group
HSWS on YouTube

We are a group of volunteers who work to better the environmental health of the Hoy, Scott, Pinnacle and Terry Fox creeks by removing invasive plants and replacing them with more suitable native species.

Our main focus is a small fish hatchery, where we grow Coho salmon, from eggs to smolt stage, in about 18 months, and then release them into Hoy Creek, and then start the process all over again.

We annually hold two public events
