Youth Faith Formation Mission Statement
The Religious Education Youth program provides a comprehensive background in the basic tenets of our faith. This includes a solid grounding in Catholic teachings, liturgy, community, and service. The goal of our program is to be a strong support to the primary religious education that the children receive in the home. As part of the program, children actively participate in meaningful worship, in-depth sacramental preparation, and ongoing moral development. One of our primary goals is to prepare students to meet the challenges of today’s world by building a relationship with Jesus and belonging to our faith community , the church.
In summary, this formation program fosters a lifelong journey of faith in Jesus Christ through an understanding of beliefs, practices, and worship to supplement the religious education that the children receive in the home.
