Nomination Process of the Best Paper Award:
The Candidates to the Annual Best Paper Award of IJOCI are selected and nominated based on the final scores of review results over individual papers which are accepted in both regular and special issues of the IJOCI.
We apply the below criterion to select those papers in principle, though the scores on the relevance to the Journal and appealing to its audience are to be appreciated in final decision:
First, summation of the Average Scores of the Overall Evaluation and the Average of the other related scores; Second, multiplication of the said summation by the scores of confidence of reviewers.
We would have a discussion over those candidates from a variety of perspectives to promote the studies on intelligent computing in organizational and collective intelligence inside the associate editors and the international advisory board, and the Editor-in-Chief finally declares the grantee based on the above discussion, if nominated.
