Note: On November 25 we move from the Richman Home (236 Valentine) to the Schiff home (213 Valentine)

Many thanks, Lori Freedman To help you end Thanksgiving weekend in an inspiring way, Joe Rosenstein will lead a learning session on the book of Jonah
on Sunday November 29, tentatively from 4:00-5:30pm at the Weingart home (338 S. 3rd Ave.).
Last year kaf-tet November --the anniversary of the adoption of the 1947 UN partition plan-- fell on Shabbat, and we honored the occasion with a singing event.
This year we'll hold this learning session which also includes some singing of Israeli songs.
February 5th and 6th: The HP Minyan will have the good fortune to experience a Shabbaton with Gabbai Seth Fishman, a protege of Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi.

The Highland Park Minyan features traditional egalitarian Shabbat morning services with spirited singing, serious davening, uninhibited discussions, and delicious lunches. We also hold services on all the Jewish holidays and on periodic Friday evenings. We have regular study sessions and shabbatons.

We participate monthly in a local soup kitchen and in collecting food for the local hungry, and we sponsor an annual Tzedakah Collective.
The Highland Park Minyan has been meeting for over 35 years.
