About Us

Formed in 2005 by an enthusiastic group of Kannadigas living in the First State, the Hoysala Kannada Sangha of Delaware focuses on emulating the rich culture of the state of Karnataka, India.

The Beginning
Delaware now has its own kannada sangha. The group formally kicked off the sangha and chalked out the various events for the year.


May-Jun, 2005
Sangha bylaws were drafted and approved by the board of directors.

Hoysala Kannada Sangha meets regularly at the Hindu Temple of Delaware, Hockessin, DE for cultural events like Ugadi, Summer Picnic and Rajyothsava. Sangha has also contributed to the temple activities. In addition, the sangha plans to meet on additional occasions as opportunities arise.
