Insulation - or to use a technical expression - COSY TIME!  Lots of soft, thick and cosy insulation material not only in the roof, but also within the walls.  We are being lagged to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and with a temperature variation in our village at a height of 500 metres above sea level, we go from about 2oC to 36oC.

 

So this is no luxury, but a necessity, which means lower energy bills for us i.e. heating and air conditioning.
