Hostel Ayalon was created in 2005 by Ariel de Lion. The hostel hosts many musicians, with a focus on Indie bands, Spoken words and visual Art events. Hostel Ayalon was situated in a recording studio that was built in the 70's and played a significant role in the music industry over the years. The space was put back to life by Yaron Vaknin and now with Roi Menahem Markovich as a nonprofit volunteers squat. The large (250m, 2800 sf) space mainly hosts performances and exhibitions. Large and smaller-scale events and sleeping band members are another option. This days Hostel Ayalon has extended their activities to New York.
