Volunteering?
At Hopkins, we depend upon the help of volunteers throughout the school year. According to Sherwood School District policy, a new Background Check Form and Volunteer Release Form must be submitted and cleared each year prior to volunteering. You may download forms at the bottom of this page; completed forms should be turned in to the Hopkins front office.
Volunteering at Hopkins is easy - just follow these simple steps:
As volunteers are needed for the different activities, school support functions, and fundraisers, you will be contacted with information about dates, times, and getting started! When volunteering at the school, all volunteers sign in to the HelpCounter at the front office. For every 40 hours of volunteer service logged in HelpCounter, Hopkins PTAC will award you with Gold Star lapel pin.
Thank you to all the volunteers that make Hopkins a
great place! Your interest in our children's education is
priceless!
Hopkins Gold Star Volunteers At Hopkins we believe that the more we become involved in our kids’ school lives, the greater their path to success. For this to be possible, we depend upon the help of volunteers throughout the school year. Hopkins PTAC proudly acknowledges those individuals who have logged at least 40 volunteer hours, celebrating them as Gold Star Volunteers. As a Gold Star Volunteer, you will receive a Hopkins Has Heart lanyard and a gold star pin for every 40 hour milestone you reach in volunteer hours. So make sure you are logging your volunteer hours and watch for your Gold Star! We appreciate the commitment all our volunteers make. We know that time and schedules can be a challenge, but Hopkins is full of many parents, relatives and involved community members who love to help. Do you have questions about volunteering? Feel free to contact Courtney D’Elia at hopkinsvolunteer@gmail.com. Thanks for volunteering! Hopkins PTAC |
