McTeacher's Night - Dinner Nights Out

What a wonderful fundraiser McTeacher's Night was!  Thank you to all the Staff who volunteered to "work at McDonalds" for the night!  It was great to see how many Hopkins Families came out in the nasty weather to support Hopkins!!  Thank you!  
We would also like to thank Angie Sutton for coordinating the night, and all of our Dinner Nights Out this year!  

Box Tops And Labels!!!

WOW!!!  Box Tops and Labels for Education were collected from classrooms today and the boxes were overflowing!!!!!  They are being counted and the traveling trophies will be presented to the winning classrooms next week.  If you still have last Sunday's (1/8/12) Oregonian at home or in your recycle bin, could you look through the coupon section for a Label's for Education 100 Bonus Point Collection Sheet.
Please send to Hopkins with your student and we will fill in with our labels.  Thank you!!!!!!!

Cookie Dough Pick Up- Monday December 5th from 2:00p.m. - 5:30p.m.

Wreath Pre-Order Pick Up!!  Please note that Friday (Nov.18th) is an Early Release Day!  We are asking that ALL orders be picked up on the Thursday pick up!!  Pick up is in the MPR from 2-6pm!

FREE Family Fun!! Come listen to police officer and fire fighters to name and other's read stories to the children. 
Wear your PJ's and bring your favorite stuffed animal.

Fun Run

Fun Run pledge envelopes will be coming home with students on Friday September 16th.  All pledge envelopes are due on Wed. September 28th.  If your student doesn't have any pledges please still have them turn their envelopes in.  Every student will recive a T-shirt and water bottle just for turning in their envelopes.  If you have any questions regarding the Fun Run please contact Erin Schaefer at schaefers5@me.com.

Volunteering?

Get a head start by turning in required forms now! Get forms turned in now and be cleared to volunteer when school starts. Due to the Sherwood School District policy, you must complete a NEW Background Check form and Instructional Volunteer Release form every school year in order to volunteer in the classroom or for any student related events. Forms are located on the Volunteers page at http://sites.google.com/site/hopkinsptac/Home . Turn forms into the school district office during summer office hours. Questions?
