In the Brazilian city of Goliania, six married couples became very disturbed by the problem of prostitution. It is widespread in their town and nation and often involves girls as young as 12 years old. The couples didn't just complain and celebrate their own superiority by criticizing the immorality though. They prayed about what to do and then went forward with a strategy.

The couple arranged a nice weekend place in a rural setting and spent Saturday preparing. They cleaned, decorated, and prepared a feast. When the time came, the husbands went downtown to a house of prostitution in three teams of two. Each team chose two girls and paid the fee, arranging to take them to another place as if to engage in prostitution with them. By all accounts, the trip back to the weekend place was quite confusing to the girls!  (editor of this website DOES NOT advocate this kind of activity)

When they arrived, the wives came out and formally received the girls. The first thing these wives did was to wash the feet of the women.. By the time that was over, all of the girls were weeping. From there the couples took them to the table and served them a banquet. The girls were so moved that they could barely eat. Finally they asked why these couples were doing such a thing....

At the time of writing, all six girls have left their lives of prostitution...
