There is hope that kids could be safe to play in our communities. But that hope is naive. It is sad but true. Children around the globe are at risk. They are at risk because of poverty, abuse, family breakdown, neglect, hunger, homelessness, disease, war and exploitation. Children are the most vulnerable members of society. They require love, safety, nurturing, and a family environment to reach their full God-given potential.
