Salmon And Steelhead 2008
I didn't get to fish much this year, as I had my surgery on my left knee in January, another surgery in April that replaced my knee and in August I had surgery on my right ankle. In the next few months i will have surgery on my right ankle to replace it.
Despite all that, I did manage to land 73 Steelhead and Salmon in my boat, but it was tough rowing the boat with one leg most of the time.
I decided to buy a jet boat this summer, partially because I can't row as much as I used to, and because I want to expand the types of fishing I do.
Below you will see some pictures of my new boat and few of the fish I caught in 2008.
This is the new jet boat. It is a 20' Rogue Marine Pro Steelheader(Scrambler). It has a 5.7 liter(350ci), fuel injected 325hp engine, 2 cannon Mag 10HS downriggers, Eagle VHF and fishfinder/GPS,flood lights,Yamaha T-8 kicker, sand trap, fully enclosed top/side/back curtains, tinted windows,200amp/circuit breaker, dual battery electrical system and I added a high thrust reverse bucket and nozzle.
This is a Ruth Lake, with the top up and center window open.
