 The Home Park Citizen Patrol actively patrols area merchants for criminal or suspicious activity. Business Watch is a partnership between the Omaha Police Department, Home Park Citizen Patrol and the merchant. The business watch program will introduce and help implement crime prevention strategies and help maintain a safe and secure work environment. By using our resources we can address workplace safety issues specific to each business, educate management and employees in the recognition of crime risks and how to reduce if not eliminate them. Meetings with businesses can be scheduled to discuss concerns or issues that may arise. The Business Watch program is based on partnerships and with the cooperation of our businesses we can work together to develop a safe and conducive environment for the City of Omaha. Closed Property Pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code 20-156.01 through 20-156.07, business owners may participate in the Closed Property Program offered by the Omaha Police Department.
