The Switchover to Digital TV has already started in 2007, and is ending in 2012, all TV in the UK will be completely digital. This process is called Digital Switchover and it's going to happen TV region by TV region. This means after this date your TV reception as you now have it will no longer work if it is not been upgraded to Digital Reception.

Most TV`s can be changed over to Digital with the addition of a "Free view Box" This is a small box that connects between your aerial connection and your TV allowing Digital TV services to be received. A New TV Should have this "Free view Box" built in so it makes it easier. This is often called an Integrated Digital TV and should have a notice stating either "Built in Free view" or Digital Ready. Because there are more channels this can mean you may need a Digital Reception compatible TV Aerial.
