This is a very BIG and EXCITING year for your child! We are very excited that your child will be receiving their Sacraments here at the Church of the Holy Family. We have designed this website to ensure that you are both well informed and aware of what is coming up in the program.

What date did I get???
At the last Parent Meeting we handed out the sheet for Parent's to pick their preferred date for 1st Communion. In the column to the left, there is a document for both dates listing who is scheduled on what date for now. If you do not see your child's name, please come into the office and make sure you have a form filled out on file. If you have any other questions or concerns please call the Religious Education Office at (315) 487-1112.
Practice Liturgies.... What do we do???
The next Liturgy is Sunday,March 13th. If you are wondering, what did they say at the meeting again??? Here is a refresher! Our Tuesday night Religious Ed. students attend the 8:45am Liturgy and our Wednesday night Religious Ed. /Holy Family School students attend the 12:15pm Liturgy. For both Liturgies, please bring your child down to the Church Hall (located directly under the Church) at least 20 minutes early. The children will take part in the procession and sit as a class in the front rows. After mass, these students will process back down the the Church Hall
and await a parent to pick them up. Please remember these Liturgies are a mandatory requirement.
What can I do for my child?
The best thing you can do to for your child is practice prayers (Sign of the Cross, Hail Mary, and the Our Father) with them daily. Another way to help your child actively participate in the weekly Liturgy is by helping them use the missal.
