I'm still in North Carolina.  My aunt is still sick.  I've been staying with her in the hospital for a few days now.  I hope she gets well soon.

Yesterday was my youngest brother's graduation.

Today, I launched the Silver Seravi's Scratchpad.

Tomorrow, I will be visiting my relatives abroad.

A couple of hours ago, my lower left molar got chipped because of some random hard seeds in my meal.  I lost around a quarter of the tooth.  I was very sad.  I don't have very good teeth, but the last time my teeth got damaged in some way, I still had baby teeth.  I am still quite mournful.

I never like going to the dentist because it is a hassle travel-wise, schedule-wise, and most of all, expense-wise.  I managed to avoid this situation for years by regularly brushing my teeth.  Sigh.

I have always had this inkling that "political correctness" is some form of cowardice.  Euphemism does not change facts.  It just sugarcoats them with varying layers of subtlety.

Seven years ago, on the year of the real beginning of this millennium, crazy people changed the world.  Being brave enough to die for your beliefs is one thing and it invokes admiration, but taking innocents with you is just plain wrong in much the same way that hunting game as a sport is evil.  The consequences of their decisions have lead to much perennial discomfort in many areas beside the immediate fatalities during the events themselves.

Terrorism is a malignant mutation of altruism.  All that misguided effort could be spent healing this planet.  Instead, it is used to fanatically or methodically satisfy the egos of their leaders and comrades.

Communism is cool until you realize that for all of its benefits, you will be sacrificing your freedom to err.

Deleted empty uncertainties.  I should add pages as I need them instead of preempting future content.
