Hollee Winder,Owner & Instructor Hollee began twirling, dance, and gymnastics at the age of 2. By the age of 8, she was asked to twirl with the Edgewood High School twirling line at half time shows. She was also given the unique opportunity to dance in front of the President of the United States in 1996. In her freshman year of high school, Hollee quickly became the feature twirler and gained recognition throughout the county. In 1999 she joined USTA and began competing with "Ambtion" twirling team coached by Lori Perkins. She twirled at the competitive level in USTA competitions for 7 years winning numerious State, Regional, and National titles. She has also had extensive training with Elite instructors Jackie Stewart and Lindel Harold. While beginning to compete heavily with USTA, she also began voice lessons with world renowned opera singer Carla Muller. During her senior year, she received the John Phillips Suza Award from the Edgewood marching band while continuing to study voice. Entering Tyler Junior College, she received a full scholarhip for twirling with the TJC Marching Band. In 2005, Hollee reached the pinnacle of twirling by competing at the World Championships in St. Paul Minnesota where she received first place in her division. Shortly after, her life took an abrupt turn when she and her family moved to Hawaii. Upon arriving, Hollee entered the Miss Kona Coffee Pageant and placed first runner up. Later that year, Hollee and her brother began to sing and perform at local venues around the islands. Through reputation and exposure it didn't talk long before they were asked to work with famous music producer Charles Brotman to further their music together as a country duet. Hollee currently resides in Orange County, California, where she is living out her dreams of both music and dance. She instructs voice and baton twirling lessons full time. |
