Breaking News:
I've finally got around to figuring out how you can leave comments. I'm sure the hours I've spent doing it so Craiga can leave a threatening message to the league will be well worth it. Once you leave a message you have to refresh the site and wait a second for it to show up.
I present "The Gutter"...

Bowler of the Week
Well, I guess this is where I owe an apology. All of the questions of where's Deej?, Anyone seen Deej?, Deej bowling this year?, were quickly put to rest last night. The kid just rolls. Doesn't matter if it's preseason, mid-season, or playoffs. Only the rare blackout, and I don't mean the electricity, can take him out of his game. Never should have doubted you. Sorry. Please have mercy on my squad when we meet.
Guess That Bowler
And the answer is....
McParty! Could there be a "bowler of the week" curse? After all of the attention you get last week Kev, you go and do this? I feel shame.
News and Notes
Another late update to the site this week. I'm losing it a little. Here's the how and why...
Things did not get off to a good start this morning...
Then I have to check on the morning news. You know, The Globe, The Journal, Financial Times, and maybe a couple of others...
Oh, and I'm going to Foxwoods tomorrow so I had to do a little research....
had a couple of guys on my fantasy hoop team play last night, so....
Then the magic happens. Move aside some other stuff and get the spreadsheets flowing....after lunch of course.
But then it's time for the Friday Scratchie ritual, so the stats get bumped back again...
and finally here we are. thanks for your time and understanding.
Rookie of the Week
We had a couple of guys step it up this week and while they couldn't wrestle bowler of the week from Deej, they should be recognized.
Marky Robertson - I saw him after the first string and he was not happy with his performance at that point. Well when you're not happy with it, there's only one thing to do - bowl a 103 and a 107 and stick it to the Union Street pins!
And in the Ichiro subcategory, Steve Miller gets the nod. While he's not a true rookie and even has a championship under his belt, he's been away for a few years now. But last night's scores would suggest otherwise! 130, have mercy.
Bowl-Off
I forgot the Flip last night so we have no video of Gray taking down Szabo. Luckily that means there's also no video of Szabo bowling a 104 and a 108 as his team snuck away with a win. Johnny's heading to Puerto Rico this weekend, so here's to a couple of frozen cocktails poolside Graydo!
Since I have no other video and Nutley wasn't there last night, here's something to start thinking about...I love him at the 4:36 mark...
