Welcome to our site concerning our Hodgson roots and connected families. Areas coverd so far are the counties of Lancashire, Yorkshire and former Westmorland in England. Recent breakthroughs now include the provinces of Manitoba, Ontario and Sashkatchewan in Canada.

I started researching my family roots in 2001 after my maternal grandfather died. At the wake I found myself thinking. Who are all these people? Since then the geneaology bug has been caught by most of my family and we have got are direct line back to the 18th century.
