Company History

Hockly Plumbers was established in 1977 by Peter Hockly. It has served
both the commercial and domestic plumbing sectors in the Wellington region throughout its 30 years of operation.

Hockly Plumbers is now owned and managed by John Garratt.
John has over

acquired from
working alongside Peter.
He is a registered Craftsman Gas fitter, Craftsman
Plumber and Drain layer.

Hockly Plumbers currently employees 6 full time operations staff, an Office
Manager and part-time Health and Safety Officer.

Although available for a range of domestic and commercial services Hockly
plumbers primarily specialises in:
  • Commercial fit-outs in office buildings and cafés (including kitchens and bathrooms)
  • Commercial building maintenance (with a dedicated emergency team on call at all times)

Hockly Plumbers has an exceptional service record as can be attested by its past and present clients, many who have been using the company for well
over 10 years.

A couple of recent projects of note include the fit out of Wellington's successful Mojo Cafe's, work in the Wellington International Airport, and the major upgrade of rainwater systems in the iconic Mackenzie Building on Willis St in central Wellington.
