THANKS!Current AnnouncementsMinority Women Conference - June30, 2007 in Nashua, NHMinorities are not only persons of color, but immigrants, disabled persons, refugees, single mothers, and divorced women. In fact, anyone who has special concerns or needs within the broader community can be seen as minority. Although women constitute a larger percentage of the population than men, we are considered minorities ourselves! At the conference, we will celebrate our womanhood and empower ourselves, so that we might empower our communities and our children. This will be a jam-packed day filled with information on many health issues as well as some entertainment. The keynote speakers are Laura Knoy from NH Public Radio and motivational speaker Treda Collier from Phillips Exeter Academy. We are going to have 16 sessions. If you know others who may be interested in this conference, please pass on this brochure!
