Junjie Zhang currently is a lecturer in Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He received his B.S. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology of China in 2005, and then he conducted a joint M.S. and Ph.D. study under Prof. Tao Sun’s supervision in Center for Precision Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. He acted as visiting scholar in Prof. Alexander Hartmaier’s research group in the Interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Materials Simulation (ICAMS), Ruhr-Universität Bochum between Sept., 2008 and Aug., 2009 with the scholarship provided by China Scholarship Council (CSC). He received his Doctor degree from Harbin Institute of Technology of China in 2011. Junjie Zhang has a background in mechanical engineering and computational nanoscale science. His current research interests are focused on materials removal mechanisms and mechanics in nanomachining process, including molecular dynamics (MD) simulation study and AFM nanaomachining experimental study. He also interests in computational nanomechanics, including mechanical properties and behaviors of metal and ceramic materials. (Update date: 2011-7-16) |
