In July 2009, the Girls' History Club visited Eyam in Derbyshire as part of their investigation into the Great Plague of 1665.
They saw the plague stone (left), where money was left to pay for vital supplies from the surrounding villages. In June 2010, the Girls' History Club visited Hardwick Hall - home of Bess of Hardwick. |
