The HIS chapter of the National Honor Society is proud to sponsor Just Children, a local AIDS orphanage.  NHS students plan regular visits to the orphanage, and during these visits organize sporting and artistic events.  Each year NHS hosts a fundraiser called MTV night, the proceeds of which are used to purchase much needed supplies for the orphanage.  In the past, some proceeds have been used to take the children to a nearby game park and last year the proceeds went to the purchase of a commercial washer machine for the center.
