Consists of sporting activities offered by Harare International School. Namely, volleyball, six-a-side soccer, basketball, badminton, swimming, cricket, track and field, softball, cricket, crosscountry and tennis. These activites are meant to challenge the student physically and develop fitness long term. In the high school grades 9 and 10 have to complete a minimum of 20 hours of action, grade 11 and 12 have to complete 50 hours each so that they can qualify to go on to the next grade or graduate. These hours are calculated by how many hours one attends pracitce, matches, and team outings. The coach will have the final say in how many hours a student will recieve for he is responsible for signing the CAS form.
ISSEA (International Schools of Southern and Eastern Africa) trips are also ways of getting action hours, if one qualifies to travel to an ISSEA tournament they have to maintain their grades in order to travel. ISSEA tournaments happen for volleyball, soccer, and basketball only and 7 schools compete to be the best in the region. These tournaments offer more hours that any other action event, one can easily recieve 50-70 plus hours during these trips.
