Cover Letter
Dear Potential Sponsor,
The Yellowhead Arrow Launchers Association (YALA) is pleased to submit for your review, a project proposal for an Indoor Archery Range and Youth Centre in the Hinton area. The construction of this facility will realize the final phase of a three (3) phase project, aimed to promote the growth and development of archery and other outdoor pursuits designed to engage youth interests of our community.
Over the past several years our association has lost winter access to two previous indoor archery ranges. These facilities had been obtained and financed by YALA with a primary objective of developing youth archery in Hinton and surrounding communities. It is with this key objective in mind that members of our association have maintained their drive to see this proposal through.
If you reference the attached proposed budget – Table 3, we estimate this great legacy project to have a total cost of close to $310,000. To date we have already accumulated over $140,000.00 through cash and in-kind support. Although close to half of our anticipated funding is expected to be obtained through grant applications, we do require additional support from your organization to fulfill the financial components required to make this vision a reality.
Should you wish to be part of this legacy initiative, we request that a letter of support be submitted to YALA prior to Dec 1, 2010. We have attached a sponsorship form at the end of our proposal to help clarify the cash and/or in-kind support being provided. Should you require further details or clarification on any component of this proposal, please contact myself. On behalf of YALA, I wish to thank you for your consideration and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
