The most important event we do at Himmel’s is Worship together. We come together each week at 9 A.M. for Sunday School and Worship at 10:15 A.M.. Our uniqueness is as a Union Parish (both ELCA Lutheran and United Church of Christ members).  We use a United Methodist hymnal because of the richness of the hymns. Liturgy is created weekly coordinating hymns, prayers and lessons to tie together a common theme for each Sunday.

Holy Communion is celebrated monthly (1st Sunday of each month) and on all Festive days, such as Holy Thursday, Christmas and Easter.

During the months of July, August and the first Sunday in September our worship time is 9 A.M.. There is no regular Sunday school.  We have an active youth program and on special occasions they conduct worship prepared by the youth group.
