MISSION STATEMENT
"Rich in heritage, Himmel's Church is a spirit filled community of faith filled believers who receive and proclaim God's love and forgiveness through Word and Sacrament, through teaching ministries and by serving others."
The most important event we do at Himmel’s is Worship together. We come together each week at 9:00 AM for Sunday School followed by Worship at 10:15 AM.
Our uniqueness is as a Union Parish (both ELCA Lutheran and United Church of Christ members).
We use a United Methodist hymnal as our basic hymnal for worship together because of the richness of the hymns. Liturgy is created weekly coordinating hymns, prayers and lessons to tie together a common theme for each Sunday.
