We are located less than 10 k. away from the Pancake Bay Provincial Park.  In season, the Park offers canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals.  On the trails, keep a lookout for moose, wolves, black bears and birds such as bald eagles, loons, sand hill cranes and cedar waxwings. Over 200 bird species have been recorded in the park.

The Batchawana Bay Provincial Park Beach is shallow and protected, the warmest on the Lake Superior shoreline.
