 IMRE HILD

 Imre Hild, a native of Budapest left Hungary for the United States in 1993 for 11 years.  His professional career in the USA included positions where he was involved in various forms and levels of management and consulting.   Among other engagements, Imre worked in junior management positions at the Essex House, a 5-star New York hotel on Central Park as well as at the Real Estate Research Group of Price Waterhouse in Baltimore. 

In 1997 he returned to Budapest to work as a management consultant for McKinsey & Co. In the same year he returned to the United States to finish up his MBA studies.  After graduation in 1998 he landed on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, one of the most prestigious investment banks.  At Lehman's conduit securitization group he primarily financed hotels and hotel chains including various Marriott brands as well as Westin, Hilton, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites properties.  

In 2003 Imre left Lehman Brothers and returned to Hungary to advise commercial banks on aspects of securitization and also to pursue private venture opportunities.  In 2004 co-founded Hild Kft., a life annuity for real estate provider, but after a short while he sold his business interest in the company due to moral concerns.   In 2005 he joined OTP Bank to found the Bank's Life Annuity subsidiary.  Since December 2005 Imre is the CEO of OTP Life Annuity for Real Estate (LARE).

 Imre holds an undergraduate (BS) and an MBA degree, both from Cornell University, which is one of the most prestigious educational institutions of the USA.  In 1995 Mr. Hild was elected president of Cornell's HSMAI (Student Hospitality Marketing Association International).  In 1996 was elected president of Cornell's 'Ye Host', the society of students demonstrating exceptional scholastic performance.  

Throughout his college career Imre worked as a teaching assistant and graduate teaching assistant for four tenured professors in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Hospitality Management and Organizational Behavior.
