HILARY ROWLAND

Hilary Rowland - Internet & Social Entrepreneur, Writer and Philanthropist.

An innovator and internet pioneer, Hilary Rowland taught herself to code and build web sites by trial-and-error, and invented online casting and portfolios, as well as launching the first ever online magazine for women. When Hilary Rowland was 15 years old, she launched two web companies which were the first of their kind (Urbanette Magazine and New FacesĀ®), which are still running and profitable. She's since founded Project Migration, which sells fashion accessories and apparel to raise funds to aid single mothers in poverty.

New FacesĀ® (www.newfaces.com) was the first online portfolio site [of any kind] and is still at the top of its game as the premier [and first] online community for models & talent. New Faces is used by top casting agents and industry pros and is the most respected in its sector. See newfaces.com/success

Urbanette Magazine (www.urbanette.com) was the first online women's magazine [previously named Hilary Magazine]. In 1995, when Hilary was just 15, she set out to make a magazine that would be a positive influence in young women's lives. The goal: fashion, fun and female empowerment!

She is currently expanding her online publishing and talent networks to include a number of new fashion and entertainment sites.
