Members of Miniature Aircraft Association must also be members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics in order to vote or operate model air, water, or land vehicles at the club facility or sponsored events.    The AMA is a national organization which has many member services, but none more important than providing members with liability insurance for the operation of their models.  For this reason AMA membership is required for the operation of any model aircraft or automobile @ Higginsfield or at club events.
