This is the home page for the Computer Lab at Highland Elementary School in the Gresham Barlow School District. I have been assigned to Highland for the 2009-'10 school year as their Title I Technology Specialist. My job is to support the math and literacy goals of Highland while utilizing the tools of technology. As we go through the year, I will post samples of grade level projects we are working on. Due to conflicts with the testing schedule in the main lab, my new home for the 2nd trimester is Room 5. This empty classroom has been set up as a secondary computer lab using one of the school's mobile labs. I'm thrilled because the SmartBoard I was given during my year as Oregon's 2007 Teacher of the Year is now installed in this location. In addition to all the groups I met with during the first trimester, I will also work with Highland's identified TAG students utilizing the  Achieve 3000  materials and a variety of other lessons utilizing software applications an online sites.
