Herrin FBLA attended the 2011 State Leadership Conference (SLC) on March 25 & 26, with over 1200 students from throughout the state.  It was a great success with 36 of the 52 students attending placing in the top ten.  Nine HHS students also qualified for National Competition which will be taking place in Orlando this June.  Qualifying for nationals are Craig Bartelsmeyer, Nick Gregory, Rachel Young, Nicole Staples, Brianna Bartelsmeyer, Macy Russell, Brooke Crisler, Elizabeth Gillespie and Nicole Gharbawi.  Nicole Gharbawi was also elected as the Illinois State Reporter for the 2011-2012 school year.
