Welcome to my home page. I don't quite know how to
build one, but learning web
pages is low on my priority list right now. But I'll keep trying, and
make periodic
upgrades. I guess you could say this is a work in progress....
I live in a rural area a few miles west of Ithaca, New York, which
is at the southern
end of Cayuga
Lake. Ithaca is a small and unique
city, with a (mostly) well educated,
well informed, and well traveled populace - in other words, very Liberal
in their political
views. :-) The natural beauty combined with the enlightened and culturally
diverse people
help make the long winters more enjoyable. A good wood stove and a
hot tub help, too.
I'm fortunate enough to have found employment at Cornell
University's department
of Elementary Particle Physics
as a technician, and have no intention of leaving any
time soon, as the work is often challenging and enjoyable. I'm told
that the Cornell
Campus is is one of the most beautiful in the Country, and I tend to
believe it. During
lunch or after work, I might take a walk through the
Cornell
Plantations to relax and
enjoy some of the incredible natural beauty.
As a hobby and for retirement security, I've been purchasing,
improving, and renting
buildings in the Ithaca area. So far,
it's been rewarding, challenging, enjoyable, frustrating,
and reasonably profitable - can't complain.
